Spring Arrival
Hopi/Choctaw

"As with most of my work, I use my ethnic background (Hopi and Choctaw tribes) as a basic foundation for the translation and creation of my images. I also use all of my life experiences and formal training as additional sources when expressing my individual aesthetic vision. The Hopi, who live in Arizona, are a ceremoniously spiritual people. As do many tribes, they have spirit beings acting as intermediaries between ourselves and The Creator -- beings that are an integral part of Hopi life."
