Pipe Bag Lakota (Sioux), South Dakota Pipe bags for the storage of ceremonial pipes and tobacco were made by Plains Indian women and decorated with paints, beads, or porcupine quillwork. The images on this bag depict a warrior on horseback with the name, "Kiyuka", above his head.
